A DC circuit breaker protects the solar system's direct-current circuit (for example between the panel strings and the inverter) against overcurrent and short circuits, and lets you isolate the circuit safely for servicing.
Unlike AC, direct current never passes through zero, so breaking it creates a more persistent arc. A breaker that isn't rated for DC at your circuit's voltage may fail to interrupt it safely. These breakers are rated for 1000 V DC.
Both are 2-pole, 1000 V DC breakers; they differ only in rated current. The rating must match the circuit's current and the cable size on that run — Forooza's engineers set it from your panel specs and system design.
